So! I heard from Betsy that I was given the SOB honour! SOB stands for Successful and Outstanding Blogger. Believe it, because I don’t! But I have to admit, I’m glowing. Thank you.
I have said that this is just a personal blog, not for any other purpose but to expel what I’m thinking and to stimulate discussion. It gets lonely at home sometimes and my thoughts can get pretty overwhelming.
But that this blog is thought great is truly thanks to you guys, my readers. I now think of this as my own little community, as not just my blog but a place we all hang out, like a cafĂ©, for example, and all have our say. It’s never just my post, but all the comments as well that make this place what it is.
Sincerely, I thank you guys so much for being so supportive and encouraging, for offering me perspective and helping me see where I’m at and where I’m going. A great deal of what I write here is inspired by you.
Thank you.

Congratulations on being an SOB. You deserve it. (In the context of this award anyway. Not in the other S.O.B. sense. Unless I’ve been reading this blog all wrong.)
Shawn! Hey. And thanks!
LOL! Nope, nothing to see between the lines here. It’s pretty much what you see is what you get.
Sharp as a tack am I. I didn’t think you could be the “son of” anything, but you never really know.
Steph,
I always knew it, but somehow I never said it. You are a Successful and Outstanding Blogger.
Congrats,
Kelly
My friend Francis used to call me an SOB but he meant I was a stupid old bugger
Once again, congrats Steph – you’ve earned this!

@Friar
YAYYYYY Steph! You deserve it.
CONGRATULATIONS you old SOB you. One more thing to brag about in your letter to Josh.
Thanks, everyone! You guys are so awesome for coming here! I really appreciate it.
PS. WD: brag about! I wasn’t planning on talking about me!
Congratulations Steph on a well deserved honor!
Yay Steph! That’s awesome.
Congrats on that and hope the new job is treating you well.
Thanks, Karen and Karen!
Day 1 at the new job didn’t kill me! I think I’m gonna make it.
But the shift is a little weird. On Mondays I do 11-7, so there’s not much time to get stuff done in the morning with walking the dog and so on, and not much time by time I get home and eat dinner to do stuff after, like edit, blog, email, etc. I think weekends might turn out to be quite busy, and unfortunatel I won’t be showing up at blogs as often!
Steph,
Just keep moving forward. Glad you didn’t die of it, and I’ll bet even Lucy was beaming with pride when you got back. Remember, real life is way more important than Blogoland. No matter what we all pretend.
You go, girl!
Until later,
Kelly
Well, Lucy was doing her boxer bean dance, that’s for sure! I finally got the greeting usually reserved for Colin.
Who’s beaming now?
PS. I know it. You’re right.
Very cool, Steph.
Now we can both call ourselves names AND call each other names and no one can get mad at us (except maybe our moms).
Aw, my ma probably won’t even know what it means. Either way.
Glad to see you here, you SOB, you!
Hey! I’m a new comer! I must say that I am extremely impressed with your blogs. I think they’re wonderful! You really do deserve to be cakked a SOB!
sorry *called
Hey Steadybeat! Welcome, and thank you very much! Your comments made my day today.
PS. It’s all right, I knew what you meant, though that was funny!
The awards are nice, but you didn’t need it for everyone to know you are damn good.
Aw BrettHead! You always make me blush!
