About

This blog will tell you all about me — likely more than you want to know. But don’t worry. Most people tend to block out things they find traumatizing.

I love to write. I hope to publish one day. This blog started as an exercise to that end…and just kept going.

Hey – I can leave a comment in your About section? I’m still learning all this blog stuff. Just when I thought I had blogger figured out you and had to switch on me. You trying to tell me sumthin’? I did manage to change your link so I can find you easily and hopefully folks visiting my spot will check you out too. You are good! Keep writing my friend!!

Glad you’re back! And let me tell you, this is way better than Blogger for so many reasons you may want to find out!

  3. Blogging is a wonderful exercise. It really stretches your mind. I have found, it also improves ones writing.

Hi Bamboo Forest! Yes, it does really stretch your mind, among other things! And I know my writing is finding its way here as well. Eventually I will find my voice and also start writing more fiction.

  5. I like your clean site, clever titles, compelling images, and interesting thoughts. (From a pingback on Ellen Wilson’s ‘Soaring and Flow’ post is how I found you.)

Hey Jaden: Thank you! I really appreciate your comment.

    Geez. You’ve made my day!

  7. I’d like to join you on that — rock? flat place? — with a good book and a dog. : )

  8. Em:

    Flatrock. :)

Exactly what I had, plus lovely hubby. :) He and Lucy were in the water.

    Hey Steph,

Thanks for the feedback on my (un)examined life blog. I’m working towards becoming a freelancer as well, so I know how difficult it can be to manage time effectively! Stay in touch..

    Josh

  10. Hey Josh,

Any time! Thanks for stopping by here, too!

  11. Hey, Steph, nice site. I’m definitely interested in finding out about the fantasy fiction editing site. I edit a lot of academic books, but I’m always looking for more fiction to edit. I’m interested in seeing how you do it.

  12. @ Beth: Ah! A kindred spirit. Yes, my days of editing academic books are hopefully soon numbered, as grateful as I am for the work! I just find it makes me so dull! :)

I’m hoping the site will be up within the next couple of months. I wanted to have a few things ready before I launched it, such as an ebook and of course the web copy (which is finally finished!). It’s going to be a blogsite, so I would like to have posts ready as well.
